mashukui / web-games is an MIT-licensed collection of browser games. We reviewed revision 38094525ad727f40e3bbc7cfc91eb6dcbe042f11 while building this site.
MagicalGrid uses its own interface and game modules. Sokoban includes 30 levels from the reference project at the revision above; the original MIT copyright and license notice is included. The remaining games use newly written logic. The upstream branding, analytics, and language layer are not included.
Classic game ideas
2048 was created by Gabriele Cirulli, building on earlier number-merging games. Minesweeper, sliding-tile puzzles, memory games, Snake and Lights Out belong to a long tradition of compact games and puzzles.
Design and assets
Game previews, icons and visual styling are created for MagicalGrid using HTML, CSS and SVG. Fonts use your device’s system font stack. No stock images or externally hosted game assets are required.
