Privacy & storage

MagicalGrid does not require an account. We do not add advertising scripts, third-party game embeds, or analytics trackers.

What this browser remembers

We use localStorage for your personal bests, your most recently opened game, and supported puzzle saves (2048, Lights Out, Slide Puzzle, Sudoku and Sokoban). These records are not uploaded to a score server or automatically synchronized between devices. Slide Puzzle saves each board size separately; Minesweeper best times are separate for each difficulty.

You can still play if browser storage is unavailable. In private browsing, records may disappear when you close the session. Clearing site data removes saved progress.

When you contact us

If you choose to email us, we receive your email address and the message you send. We use those details to reply and investigate your request. Email is handled by your email provider and ours; it is separate from the game records stored in your browser.

Hosting and requests

MagicalGrid is hosted on Cloudflare. Loading the site sends normal web-request information, such as your IP address and browser information, to the hosting provider to deliver and protect the service. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Sharing is your choice

A result is only copied or sent to your device’s share sheet when you choose that action. Shared text includes your score and the game’s public URL, not a username or personal identifier. Ordinary links open the game, not the board you played. If this browser has a saved puzzle, it may resume that puzzle. Daily Lights Out links include a date and rules version, so they open the same starting puzzle; your own saved attempt may resume. Daily and ordinary saves are kept separately.

Clear your MagicalGrid records

This removes MagicalGrid saves and personal bests from this browser only. Other sites’ data is left alone.
