SEE THE RULE IN ACTION

Two cards make one turn

Your first pick is a star at row 1, column 2. The ? cards are face down. Try the card at row 3, column 3 as your second pick.

This is a separate example. Trying it does not change your game or saved progress.

Does a missed pair count as a turn?

Yes. Every two different cards you reveal count as one turn, whether they match or not. A mismatch stays visible briefly, then turns face down before you can choose again. With eight pairs, eight turns is the best possible finish.

How can I make fewer guesses?

Give cards a position, not just a symbol: “moon, top left” is easier to revisit than “a moon somewhere.” When you reveal a symbol you have seen before, use its remembered partner as your second pick. If neither position is known, explore a new card and remember both.

Will my unfinished deck be saved?

No. Refreshing or choosing New game shuffles a fresh deck. Only your fewest turns from completed games are kept in this browser when storage is available.
