Eat the food without hitting a wall or your own tail.

SEE THE RULE IN ACTION

A bite adds one square and one point

This excerpt shows a snake moving right: ○ is its body, ▶ is its head, and ✦ is food. The next step reaches the food.

This is a separate example. Trying it does not change your game or saved progress.

Why can’t I turn straight back?

A direct reversal is ignored. If you are moving right, turn up or down first. Only one turn can be queued for each step, so let that move happen before asking for another turn.

Can I cross an edge or my own body?

Crossing an edge or colliding with the body ends the run; the board does not wrap around. The tail vacates its square on a normal step, but stays put when you eat. Leave yourself room to turn after a bite.

Can I pause and come back later?

Use Pause, then Resume when you are ready. Switching to another tab also pauses the run, and returning does not resume it automatically. Refreshing starts a fresh run; your best completed score stays in this browser when storage is available.
